Though Matchmaking has recently undergone some changes, scouting in World of Tanks including passive scouting is still a viable strategy that a lot of players enjoy. Passive Scouting requires players to, more often than not, remain completely still in order to take advantage of specific equipment, all in the name of increasing the View Range in order to spot enemies. To succeed at Passive Scouting, you will first need to know how to scout in World of Tanks. The most important thing when selecting a Passive Scout Tank is that it needs to have a high View Range and incredible Camouflage ratings, as this helps you see far and remain undetected. Although these tanks may not be some of the best tanks to farm credits in World of Tanks , they offer their own kind of reward through successful spotting. While Tier 4 matches are almost as bad as the black hole that is Tier 3 , the M5A1 Stuart, with its ability to effectively scout, alleviates a lot of the stress. Unfortunately, not every passive scout can be perfect, and the M5A1 Stuart suffers from a slightly lower View Range than desired. However, with a compact design and decent camouflage values, it can remain hidden and even sneak up close to an enemy base and provide anti-SPG support. This take-off speed will allow you to quickly relocate. Even with its flaws, when supplemented with Equipment, the Stuart is a passive tank worth keeping, especially if you require practice in lower tiers before progressing.
It will also be changed — it will lose the 75mm howitzer and the open top turret unhistorical combo , instead, it will have a 37mm autoloaded gun, called T Summary: these data are preliminary, but it looks like quite a maneuverability nerf vehicle got heavier, traverse reduced, worse passability , the top gun is practically equal to the pre-top, just with an autoloader and cca 10 percent more DPM.
I did it and on paper it seems it is going to be worse now.
So far, the most painful part for me is the matchmaking TIER 8 GAMES. Almost all games I had were tier and I got killed pretty fast trying to.
HE is enough…. Those are tier and the nerfs minor. Calm ur tits. Complain in their forums — there it might does something if done well enough. So, if they are reducing the spread on these tanks, they would be making them see tiers Tier 8 light tanks would be fun to play. But I wonder what will happen to tier 10s who are used to that… like the Leo 1 with its amazing view range….
Driving light tanks well requires not making mistakes that cost your health. If you can manage that much light tanks are basically better mediums.

to deal with tier 5 matchmaking, which is pretty much every battle in this tank. but a stuart hates when a toaster hits them twice with HE and then If you think the m5 is bad, then oh joy wait until you try the glorious m5a1!
Jump to content. Tanks come in two forms: the dangerous, deadly kind and the “liberating” kind. The a1 has better mobility, actually. I used the stock gun and turret for even better mobility when i played it and it was quite nice. The regular m5 was ok, i didnt play it much. Fighting tier 5 heavies with it is an absolute joke. All except the M5. It’s just useless in far too many situations.
I thought the stuarts were actually pretty good I just spammed APCR at everything that had armor and some that didn’t. GIF by spartacusdiablo.
Standard Gun Reload Times Nominal: 2. The M5A1 Stuart is a Chinese tier 4 light tank. The first tanks of the M5 series were produced in April , and a new modification, the M5A1, was preferred over other variants. After the M24 Chaffee was developed, the M5A1 tanks were deemed obsolete and were exported to other countries, including China. A total of tanks of this type were supplied to the Kuomintang. This tank plays quite differently depending on if you are near the top or bottom of the battle.
So is it just me or is this tank even worse than the leopard? It gets standard tier 4 scout matchmaking but has the same gun as the Chi Ha and .
Fact is, many heavy tanks and even artillery and tank destroyers can see further than light tanks. WOT – free-to-play online multiplayer tank battles simulator made on the basis of the famous wars and the modern war vehicles from Wargaming. Personally, I find credits per gold to be a crap conversion rate, and would only convert gold to credits if it was credits per gold. WoTLabs also offers excellent resources for players looking to improve their gameplay.

Asked by BesniqVoinik2. Hi guys I recently start my career as tanker and now I’m wondering how does the matchmaking work? If I use light armor will I be matched against light armor tanks or it is random? In staged, you will always get matched versus the same class lights vs lights, heavy vs heavy. Because they both basically perform equally, You’ll often find Tank destroyers and Medium tanks available in the same match.
In war, it all depends on which assault teams have been sent in by generals. Here you might encounter heavy tanks tanks while driving your light. War mode should be avoided as a tanker in general, especially if you are new to tanking.
A video game such as a vehicle-based combat game may include multiple types of vehicles, where each type of vehicle may progress through increasing tier levels. Different types of vehicles within the same tier may have different capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses. When performing matchmaking for a game session, a matchmaking server may use a battle level table defining permissible tiers of each type of vehicle allowed within a particular battle level, and may also limit the number of a specific type of vehicle allowed in any one game session.

All light tanks now get regular matchmaking. Here, I will focus on tier IV light tanks that are not scout tanks. A platoon is a way of playing World of tanks with one or two friends.
